Students entering this first semester intermediate course are assumed to have knowledge of the basic grammar of Spanish and a small working vocabulary (consistent with 2 to 4 years of high school training and 1 semester of college-level training) at the Novice High or Intermediate Low level on the ACTFL proficiency scale.
