Welcome to COSC 115!
- We will start the semester reviewing basic concepts about the internet and websites.
- Then we will turn our attention to HTML that is used to describe the content and structure of a web page.
- We will start to set p a website on a web server.
- Next we will tackle CSS that is used to describe the presentation of a web page. (CSS is more challenging to learn than HTML so we will cover that a little more slowly.)
- We will take a look at responsive web design, but we won't cover it in much detail. (The book has several chapters on RWD, but I want to cover another topic.)
- You'll learn what a CMS does by setting up a WordPress site.
