The primary objective in this course is to introduce students to basics of calculus and its applications to business, economics, and social sciences. In this course students will: 1. Develop a thorough understanding of basics calculus including limits and differentiation. 2. See how mathematics is used in business, economics, and social sciences; 3. Develop greater facility to think about mathematics and mathematical problem solving.
