This course is designed to introduce you to the principles and importance of modern climate change, which impacts our society and planetary systems now, and will impact them even more dramatically in the future. Climate change, while well understood in the scientific community, has been politicized and is often poorly understood by the general population. In this class, we will learn about the science of climate change, and how the scientific process provides a meaningful foundation to understand its impacts and contextualize its importance for our shared future.
